Overview Of The Program

The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is the first professional degree in architecture and can be a step towards building a career as an architect. Aspiring architects will have the opportunity to develop their drawing and design techniques. They can also learn how to consider the community and environment surrounding their designs.


In order to secure through MASA CAP to first year B.Arch. of five year degree course in Architecture the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria
1. No candidate with less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% for backward class candidate from Maharashtra state) shall be admitted to the Architecture course unless he/she has passed an examination or equivalent with mathematics as subject of examination at the 10+2 level & also pass NATA aptitude test
Passed diploma in 10+3 diploma (in any stream) examination recognized by central/state government or its equivalent examination & secured minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for backward class candidate)
2. Hold valid score at National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by council of Architecture.

3.School Leaving Certificate after passing H.S.C (STD 12th) qualifying examination.
4.NATA Score Card.
5.Birth Certificate/Domicile Certificate.
6.Cast and Validity Certificate (for backward candidate) of Maharashtra State.
7.Non Creamy layer Certificate.

Grading System

The class at the end of each Year should be awarded to the student on the
aggregate marks obtained by him. The award of class shall be as follows:-
a) Aggregate 66% or more marks : First class with Distinction
b) Aggregate 60% or more marks : First class
but less than 66%
c) Aggregate 55% or more marks : Higher Second class
but less than 60%
d) Aggregate 50% or more marks : Second class
but less than 55%
e) Aggregate less than 50% : Pass class
subject to criteria of passing
f) The pass percentage shall not be less than 50% in the aggregate marks of F.Y,
S.Y., and T.Y. at the end of Stage I.
