| Eligibility |
1. Candidates must have completed with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade: 1-year/2-semester Master’s degree after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree programme, OR 2-year/4-semester Master’s degree after a 3- year Bachelor’s degree programme, OR Qualifications recognized as equivalent by the statutory regulatory authority (UGC). 2. Candidates with a 4-year Bachelor’s degree with research (without Master’s) must have at least 75% marks or an equivalent grade. 3. Foreign degrees equivalent to Master’s or M.Phil. will be considered if certified by an appropriate accreditation authority. 4. Candidates who have qualified NET / JRF / INSPIRE are exempted from PET and may directly attend the in – person interview |

Theory (Forenoon session): MCQs, Pen & Paper (OMR) Interview (Afternoon session): In person interview with the research committee of the respective schools. Candidates are required to present a draft proposal of a research topic. |
