Dr. Abhishek Srivastava is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Law and an alumnus of the National Law University, Mumbai. He holds a Ph.D. in Sports Law from Alliance University, Bengaluru, along with degrees in Law (LL.B.) and Commerce (B.Com.) from the University of Allahabad. His academic journey reflects a strong interdisciplinary foundation that integrates law, governance, and public policy.

With more than 13 years of combined experience in industry and academia, Dr. Srivastava specializes in Sports Law and Governance. His research interests span sports regulation, legal policy, and environmental sustainability in mega sporting events, consumer protection, and legal education.

In 2024, he successfully completed a funded policy research project examining the environmental impact of major sports events—specifically analysing the carbon footprint of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Dr. Srivastava has authored 18 research papers, predominantly in the domain of Sports Law and Governance, with significant contributions also in consumer law, public policy, and legal education. His work reflects a commitment to socially relevant, policy-oriented research.
