Dr. Deepa Reddy is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in nursing, education, and administration, particularly in specialized clinical areas. Currently serving as the Incharge Principal at D.Y. Patil University School of Nursing in Navi Mumbai, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise throughout her career. In the year 2025; She was awarded- Nursing Educator of the year 2025 awarded by Voice of health care.Dr. Reddy was honored with the International Best Researcher Award at the ISSN International Research Awards & Congress 2024 (IIRAC 24) on June 23, 2024, in recognition of her outstanding research and contributions to paediatric nursing. In 2023, she received the INSC Best Teacher Award and the Research Excellence Award from InRes, highlighting her exemplary professional achievements and advancements in nursing science. She has published various books and chapters in the field of nursing. Her dedication to the field was also acknowledged when she was awarded the Best Poster Award for her review study on high-fidelity simulation in nursing education at Hinduja College of Nursing in January 2016. In addition, she was presented with a certificate of appreciation and an honorarium by the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) in 2014-15 for her efforts in encouraging young graduates to enroll for TNAI Life Membership. A life member of the Trained Nurses Association of India, the Oncology Nurses Association of India, and the Society of Midwives India. In her role at D.Y. Patil University School of Nursing, she chairs various committees and actively contributes to shaping the future of nursing education. Dr. Reddy also serves on the Job Chart Committee at the Commissionerate Health Services (Nursing), Arogya Bhavan in Mumbai. Her focus remains on cultivating nurses with reflective critical thinking skills, aiming to elevate healthcare standards and advance the nursing profession. Dr. Reddy’s commitment to excellence and her contributions to the field of nursing education and research are both inspiring and impactful.

Dr. Deepa Reddy has authored several international and national research articles and co-authored key textbooks, including Neonatal and Paediatric Nursing Procedures and Textbook of Nursing Research.
She has also contributed chapters to Adult Health Nursing-1 and Advanced Nursing Practice. Dr. Reddy holds a registered patent for her design of a Biometric Medication Dispenser Device (Design No. 421075-001; June 24, 2024).

She enjoys teaching Child Health Nursing, Advanced Nursing Practice, Nursing Management & Research Methodology to nursing students.
