To provide a comprehensive, structured programme for post graduate candidates, so as to enhance knowledge in clinical, non-invasive and preventive cardiology

 

Course description –

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in India, accounting for about 1.7 million deaths annually. Despite this, there is an acute shortage of trained cardiologists in the country. To alleviate this need, we need to train primary care cardiologists who would help to bridge this gap.

With this in mind, we would like to initiate a fellowship in non – invasive cardiology.
