Hightlights

  • A new comprehensive one year clinical fellowship focused on multi-modality cancer imaging, including CT, MRI, PET/CT – FDG as well as PSMA PET-CT
  • Exposure to image-guided oncology procedures.
  • The training program will allow fellows to become proficient in onco imaging including disease diagnosis and treatment outcome follow up.
  • Fellows will actively participate in regular multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • The fellows will be encouraged to publish their work and present ongoing research at various National and International level conferences
  • This experience affords an opportunity to gain familiarity with types of cancer treatments, role of localized therapy, as well as imaging patterns of tumor specific metastases, disease recurrence and drug toxicity.

Eligibility Criteria

MD/DNB RADIODIAGNOSIS with 1 year experience post pg.

Duration of Course

1 Year

Course Commences: January 2025
Course Completion Criteria:

  1. Internal Assessment Theory Examination – 100 marks
  2. Final University Practical Examination – 100 marks
  3. Minimum 1 Research Publication in international / national journal.
  4. Minimum 1 Poster/ Paper presentation in International / national conference.

Course
Syllabus

This one-year fellowship provides extensive experience in imaging of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities including Musculoskeletal tumours for adult and pediatric cancer patients.

The course spectrum will also cover neurooncoimaging , breast imaging and cardiac imaging.

The key responsibility includes image interpretation under senior mentorship and learn template based reporting protocols.

With regular departmental and interdepartmental meetings the fellow would be exposed to ongoing updates in imaging guidelines and standards as well as ongoing trials.

The body OI fellow actively participates in the performance and interpretation of studies, as well as in consultations with clinical staff.
