Criteria

Candidates applying for the M.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering at RAIT must meet the following criteria.

  • Candidates who have completed their BE / B.Tech in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education, or Central or State Government approved institutions, or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates from Backward class categories).
  • Obtained a Qualified (Valid) Score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025 or 2026).
  • OR obtained a Score in the DYPU Post Graduate Entrance Examination in Engineering (DYPRAIT-PG 2026) conducted by Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, a Constituent College of D. Y. Patil Deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai.
  • For sponsored candidates: minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm, company, industry, educational or research institute, any Government Department, or Government Autonomous Organisation in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
