About the
Program
This is a three year postgraduate program recognised by the Medical Council of India. The program involves rotational postings in the Departments of ENT, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatrics and General Medicine. The student is actively involved in patient care under expert supervision in the setting of Out Patient Department, wards, Casualty Department, Operation Theatre and Intensive Care Unit.
Besides routine ENT work, the student is exposed to Speciality work like, Cosmetic ENT Surgery, Endoscopic ENT Surgery, Skull Base Surgery, Head Face Neck Surgery, Oncosurgery , Voice Clinic Audiology and Speech Clinic. The practical skills imparted to the student are fine tuned by use of our state of art Simulation Laboratory. Apart from this extensive practical training , the course involves an indepth training in theory , which is accomplished with lectures, seminars, case discussions and journal clubs.
The program gives adequate exposure to the student , to develop excellent clinical and surgical skills . It encourages the student to develop an evidence based approach in the treatment of diseases of the Ear Nose and Throat.
