Programme
Objectives
Modern societies confront multifaceted policy challenges such as healthcare reform, climate change, inequality, technological innovation, and governance effectiveness. Addressing these demands require a skilled cadre of policy professionals who can navigate complex issues and balance diverse stakeholder interests. Governments, non-governmental organizations, international bodies, think tanks, and private sector entities require policy experts to tackle intricate problems. The demand extends to policy analysts, advisors, consultants, researchers, and government officials capable of evidence-based decision-making.
Effective policy-making demands interdisciplinary insights. The two-year Master of Public Policy (MPP) programme fosters an understanding of how economics, sociology, political science, health and other disciplines intersect to shape policy outcomes. This holistic approach equips graduates with a nuanced perspective on policy dynamics.
Duration & Pedagogy
The programme commences in the first week of August every year. It is an 80 credit 24-month full time programme spread across 4 semesters. Pedagogy for each module has been meticulously planned with emphasis on experiential learning through interactive class discussions, internships, field assignments, and research projects. The school infrastructure has been thoughtfully designed to promote interaction and team work.
Students also have the unique opportunity to be part of various student driven activities.
