The Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) Honours at the DYPU-School of Public Health is a full-time undergraduate programme of 4 years. It is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This interdisciplinary programme is strategically designed to address the escalating demand for professionals capable of navigating complex public health landscapes. By synthesising principles from medicine, social sciences, policy, data science and management, the programme develops versatile graduates equipped to strengthen public health infrastructure.

A core component of the degree is the integration of experiential learning by including internships, fieldwork, and research projects enabling students to apply theoretical frameworks to practical challenges. Furthermore, the curriculum prioritises the development of interpersonal communication alongside technical expertise in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Data Science, Health Communication and Analytics, ensuring graduates are highly competitive in the global health sector.

• Academic Qualification: Applicants must have successfully completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination in any stream from a recognised educational board.
• Minimum Aggregate: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) is required in the qualifying examination.
• International Applicants: Candidates applying under the Foreign National, Non-Resident Indian (NRI), or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) categories must have completed an equivalent grade examination from a recognised international board or university outside India.
