About the
Program
BSS Bachelors in Sports Sciences is a 4 yrs undergraduate program. It includes six semesters and one year long industrial placement. The program covers foundation courses like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry which advances to core Exercise & Sports Sciences and Skills oriented courses like Exercise Physiology, Sports Nutrition, Sports Biomechanics, Sports Psychology, Exercise Form & Techniques, Exercise Programming, Strength & Conditioning. The student after undergoing the formal education and training will be able to deal effectively with the needs of the fitness enthusiasts, community, and athletes and be competent to handle all problems related to the specialty of Exercise Science & Sports Science and recent advances in the subject. The student will also acquire skills to train general populations, athletes, medical & special population and be able to integrate teaching of Science of Exercise and Sports in to Fitness consultation, Exercise Programming and strength & conditioning.
Eligibility
(10+2 or 12 th with any stream) MSS(MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BPT, BOT, B Pharm, B Phy Ed, Bachelors in Sports & Exercise Sciences, BSc (Nutrition, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biology, Psychology, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Yoga),Bachelor’s degree in any allied speciality.)
