BBA
Program Overview
The BBA curriculum at Vijay Patil School of Management is carefully designed to provide a balanced blend of foundational knowledge and practical flexibility. A comprehensive core curriculum builds a strong base in business fundamentals while nurturing essential skills such as communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Specializations

Students may choose from a range of specialization areas within the BBA programme to align with their academic interests and career aspirations. Each specialization is structured through a prescribed set of courses and credit requirements to ensure depth of knowledge in the chosen domain. Additionally, several courses are interdisciplinary in nature and may be credited across multiple specializations, thereby providing students with the flexibility to pursue dual specializations and develop a broader, more versatile business skill set.
Finance
A BBA in Finance provides students with a strong foundation in financial principles and essential analytical skills required to understand business and financial environments. The programme combines conceptual learning with practical exposure, enabling students to interpret financial data, understand risk, and support effective decision-making. It prepares students for entry-level roles and further specialization in areas such as banking, financial services, and corporate finance, while building a solid base for future professional growth.
Marketing
The Marketing specialization in the BBA programme is designed to develop a strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer engagement strategies. It integrates foundational concepts such as consumer behaviour, digital marketing, and market research to equip students with practical and analytical skills. The programme prepares students to contribute effectively to brand development, design impactful marketing initiatives, and respond to evolving customer needs in a competitive business environment.
Human Resource Management
The Human Resource Management specialization focuses on building competencies required to manage and develop organizational talent effectively. It encompasses key areas such as recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, and organizational behaviour. The BBA programme enables students to support workforce planning, foster a positive organizational culture, and align human resource practices with overall business objectives.
International Business
A BBA in International Business introduces students to the fundamentals of global trade and cross-cultural business practices. The programme covers key areas such as international markets, global business strategies, and cultural dynamics, enabling students to understand the functioning of businesses in a global context. It prepares students to explore international opportunities, support global operations, and adapt to diverse business environments.
Eligibility
To be eligible to receive an invitation from VPSM to join its BBA program, a student must have secured a minimum of 75% in SSC and 70% in his/ her HSC examinations.
Consistency of academic performance and participation in extracurricular activities are also important criteria for receiving the invitation from VPSM.
Participation at a School / State / University / College level extra-curricular activities will be rewarded with additional marks. The candidate must necessarily provide evidence of participation.

Program
Highlights
The two important factors that distinguish the VPSM BBA Program from the rest are its personalized learning experience and the six-month project with the industry. The course structure consists of the core courses that will be compulsory for all the students and electives to be chosen by the students as per their career aspirations. These choice-based electives shall offer a personalized learning experience while the industry project will help them understand the functions of the industry better by getting hands-on on the job experience.
