Where Glitz Met Glam, Nostalgia Sparkled, and Memories Shone Bright – A Reunion that Dazzled in Every Alumni’s Heart!”✨

The Alumni Reunion MILAP 2023 at Occasion plus Banquet, Kharghar, organized by D Y Patil Deemed to be University School of Management and facilitated by the Alumni Committee led by the Secretary Sandhya Poojari, marked a memorable gathering of 300 alumni spanning 20 batches.

 In a spectacular return after a six-year hiatus, the Alumni Reunion MILAP 2023 surpassed all expectations. Post-COVID, the anticipation and enthusiasm from both alumni and the organizing committee were palpable, creating an electric atmosphere. The last reunion held in 2016 set the stage, and this year’s response showcased the eagerness for reconnection.

Themed “Glitz and Glam,” the event was a dazzling fusion of Bollywood Charm and Red Carpet. Attendees adorned themselves in their most glamorous outfits, turning the venue into a mesmerizing showcase.

 

Event Highlights

Commencing with the divine Sarasvati Vandana and the National Anthem, the event was graced by the Director Prof. Dr. R. Gopal, Dr. Sunil Surte, and faculty coordinators Dr Sapna Suri and Dr. Rashmi Sreejit Nair.

The night unfolded with captivating performances, including a prayer dance by Zai Shinde and Ritasha Ganga Dev’s melodious singing. Alumni showcased their talents in guitar performances, break dances, and a heartfelt tribute to their loved one.

Recognition took centre stage with an award ceremony honoring alumni whose contributions stood out in benefiting both the institution and society. A token of appreciation was presented, acknowledging the noteworthy efforts of Mr. Mehul Joshi, Ms. Renu Mishra, and Mr. Prashant Sowmitry. The festivities continued with a delectable dinner, followed by a rocking DJ session that saw alumni and committee members dancing the night away, fostering camaraderie and nostalgia.

With a specially curated selfie booth Alumnis went on to capture glamorous moments that will undoubtedly be cherished. As the curtains gracefully fell on this dazzling affair, hearts brimmed with treasured memories.
