Dental Checkup Camp for Oral Cancer Detection

The department of Public Health Dentistry in association with Rotary Club of Addiction Prevention 3141 conducted a dental check-up and treatment camp on 19 th April 2023 at Nana Chowk, Grant Road. The staff Dr. Sheiba Gomes, Dr Ketaki Bhor and Dr. Siddharth Acharya and interns: Ruchika Kaliyanpur, Rudra Mohanty, Rujvi Sabis, Sanaya Seth, Sanika Mankar, Sanika Sawant participated in the camp.

The objectives of the camp were to conduct dental check-up of the patients for oral cancer detection and educate them on the importance of oral health and tobacco cessation. A total of 250 subjects were screened
