GARBA नी RAAT

The “Garba नी Raat” event, organized by the Cultural and Literary Committee of DYPUSM at Varkari Bhawan on October 18, 2023, to celebrate Navratri, proved to be a resounding success. It ignited the festive spirit within both students and faculty.Commencing at 4:00 pm with solemnity, the event began with an auspicious arti seeking the blessings of Durga Maa. We were honored by the presence of esteemed individuals, including our Director, Dr. R. Gopal, and our Dean, Dr. Gagandeep Nagra, alongside the DYPUSM faculty & non-faculty members who graced the occasion.

The event was hosted by Abhilasha Chatterjee and Manali Jain and it featured a series of Exciting competitions and titles for various categories, including Best Dressed Male (Garv Gupta, BBA TY), Best Dressed Female (Sailee Ghule, BBA SY), Best Male Dancer (Pratham Thakkar, BBA SY), and Best Female Dancer (Tanaya Satam, MBA SY).The winners were duly recognized and rewarded by the Cultural Committee.

To make the evening even more special, the event welcomed a renowned Instagram influencer, Kanak Gupta, as the chief guest. Her presence infused the event with a vibrant energy and a sense of joy.

In addition to the lively dance and music, attendees had the opportunity to indulge in an array of food stalls set up on the venue where they could relish a variety of tasty snacks.

The event received a lot of positive feedback from the attendees, marking yet another successful venture by the Cultural and Literary Committee, led by Cultural Secretary Saleha Sayani and her dedicated team, under the guidance of Dr. Roshni Sawant, the Faculty Head of  the Cultural and Literary Committee.
