Program

● Certificate course in Reliable Time Triggered Embedded Systems will provide understanding of the techniques essential to the design and implementation of Embedded Systems using time triggered architectures in mission critical applications like automotive, medical, industrial sectors.

● This program provides learners the required jumpstart to create schedulers to meet tight real time constraints required to achieve functional safety.

● It is a perfectly designed program for aspiring under-graduates/graduates or Post Graduate students of Engineering or Science faculties. Students acquire the skills needed by the industry in achieving the functional safety of embedded systems.

● This program comprises two Levels: Level 0 and Level 1.

● Level 0 represents the entry level qualification level that should be expected from an individual involved in the development of real-time embedded systems that are intended to be reliable using a simple embedded OS. This level consists of two modules (Module1+Module

2)of 30hrs duration each.

● Level 1 represents the minimum qualification level that should be expected from an individual involved in the development of real-time embedded systems that are intended to be reliable, but where failure has no direct safety implications. This level consists of two modules(Module3+Module4) of 30hrs duration each.

Objectives

Eligibility
Criteria

● Undergraduates and PG in any branch of engineering.
● BSc with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
● AMIE in any branch of engineering.
● Diploma in branch of engineering (eligible for certificate courses only).

Evaluation

Examination will be conducted by SafeTTY Systems Limited, UK. Examination will be conducted as multiple choice questions (MCQs)/Assignments/Case study problems.

4 IoT or SafeTTy Level 1 (Electives: Choose any one)

●         IoT: Foundations of ADCs with SAR ADC, calibration of analog sensor, TI CC3300 WiFi module usage, Basics of Node-Red, MQTT, create an IoT application using IBM cloud.

●         SafeTTy Level 1: TASKs in RTOS, balanced load, loop delay, hardware delay, jitter, task schedulers,

priority inversion, hybrid schedulers.
