Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, (RAIT) established in 1983 was the first institute of D Y Patil group. It symbolises his vision to provide quality education to all. Since its inception, RAIT has been a trailblazer, being the first engineering institute to be in Navi Mumbai and also for offering newer options in the field of technology back in the eighties. It is the preferred college for many aspiring students.

Since 2020, RAIT is under the ambit of the D Y Patil Deemed to be University which is accredited with A++ by NAAC. RAIT is also approved by the AICTE. RAIT presently offers undergraduate programs in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Business Systems, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning), Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber security), and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Electronics & Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.

It offers postgraduate degree programs and PhD programs in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunications, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, and Instrumentation Engineering. Other than these, the institute offers certificate courses in fields such as Data Science, Cyber security and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
