8th Ayurveda Day 2023-Other activity

Under the celebration of “8^th  Ayurveda Day 2023″  in alignment with the cognizance of G20 on traditional medicine and the theme of India’s G20 Presidency, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” the focal theme for Ayurveda day -2023,Janjagruti Abhiyan has been decided as “Ayurveda for one health” with tagline “Ayurveda for Everyone onEvery day (Har din Har kisi ke Liye Ayurved)” – focusing on human- Animal- Plant- Environment Interface.& ” Ayurveda Awareness campaign “

Initiated by Maharashtra Government & Ayush Directorate, D.Y.Patil School of Ayurveda.  Nerul. NaviMumbai, keeping this objective in view, under the guidance of Dean Dr. Mahesh Kumar Harit sir & Dr. Mangala Wange (Nodal officer of this campaign) HOD Swasthavritta & Yoga, D.Y.Patil School of Ayurveda had organized various activities on October 23 & November 2023 like

• Slogan Competition, Poster making Competition & Road play. Students enthusiastically participated in this activity.
• Awareness on Medicinal Plants has been very important of educational curriculum which allows a student to understand the ancient and traditional system of Ayurveda. In addition to this, the ministry of AYUSH, GOI has decided to celebrate Ayurveda Program on Information of Medicinal Plants with General Awareness of Medicinal Plants in various Diseases was conducted by the Department of Dravyaguna at Y. Patil Herbal Garden, Nerul for Staffs and Students of schools & College.
