Dental Camp for Awareness on Oral hygiene and Oral Health at VIBGYOR High School, Kharghar

As part of the Founder’s Day Celebrations, the Department of Public Health Dentistry conducted a Camp for awareness on Oral hygiene and oral health on 23^rdOctober 2023 at the VIBGYOR High School, Kharghar. The staff Dr. Sheiba Gomes and Dr. Siddharth Acharya along with the interns: Tirth Parekh, Vaishnavi Udavant, Vedanti Chavan, Vini Ann participated in the camp.

The objectives of the camp were to impart awareness regarding oral health to the students of the school through demonstrations, talks and interactions. A total of 400 children across different classes attended the awareness sessions. An awareness and preventive session was conducted by Dr Sheiba Gomes. The interns interacted with students and toothbrushing demonstrations were held for all the 400 participants.

The objectives of the camp have been fulfilled.
