D. Y. Patil University School of Nursing is a student-centered nursing institute, established in the year 2008, is affiliated to D. Y. Patil Deemed to be University Nerul, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai and is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. It is increasingly becoming popular because of its high quality and dynamic education.
Society believes the progress of a country depends on the health of the citizens and education of nurses contributes a lot to promote and maintain the health of the nation as a whole. We, the faculty of nursing, take up the responsibility in promoting nursing education based on Evidence Based Practice applying scientific principles; integrating theory and practice; in order to produce skilled, highly competent and qualified licensed nurses. Through this they are equipped to face the challenges and to achieve professional growth. We promote all round development of the students with special emphasis on intellectual and extracurricular aspects which enables them to become an effective change agent in the dynamic society.

The responsiveness of our staff, the excellent infrastructural facilities like skill lab and hands-on practice along with clinical training prepare our nursing students to meet all kinds of challenges of today and tomorrow. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the faculty and management who devote their time and professional expertise towards this cause.
