DY Patil School of Public Health

Functioning from its state-of-the-art campus at Navi Mumbai, DY Patil University School of Public Health (DYPSPH) is one of the constituent units of DYPU. In keeping with its vision of offering world class education and facilities to students and faculty, DYPU established the School of Public Health in the year 2020 in the background of the raging pandemic when the need for an energised public health system was ever so evident. Over the last five years the school has grown in stature and currently offers specialised programmes at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The school adopts an integrative approach across public health, environment, and public policy to better understand the determinants of population health. By bringing these fields together, we foster interdisciplinary learning, evidence-based policy engagement, and innovative solutions to improve health outcomes. Students engage with a community of peers and globally reputed faculty, developing critical thinking skills to build healthier, more sustainable, and equitable communities.
