It gives me immense pride to pen this message as the Director & Professor of the School of Sports, Exercise and Nutrition Sciences at DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai. This school offers courses in Sports Sciences at the Bachelors (BSS), Masters (MSS) and PhD levels.
To achieve the DYPU goal of quality education, we have world-class infrastructure, highly qualified faculty and good industry tie ups for internships and placements.
The training in all Sports Sciences courses is a comprehensive mix of theory and hands on practical training, and the practical training is conducted at the DY Patil Hospital, DY Patil Sports & High Performance Centre and the DY Patil Sports Academy. Our students gain valuable life experience by being part of several international sporting events which are conducted at the DY Patil Stadium. Campus life at the DYPU is also very vibrant and ensures that the students gain valuable life skills.
