The D Y Patil Stadium, located within the academy, is a hub for various high-profile events. These include international sports tournaments such as the FIFA U-17 World Cups and the AFC Champions League. The stadium served as the Mumbai Indians’ home ground during the 2008 and 2010 IPL seasons and the Pune Warriors’ home ground in 2011. Additionally, it hosted the inaugural IPL final in 2008.
The stadium has been a prestigious venue for numerous iconic music events. Notably, on 16 November 2019, Dua Lipa and Katy Perry headlined the OnePlus Music Festival, attracting a massive audience. Earlier, in September 2019, the legendary band U2 announced their concert at the stadium as part of their Joshua Tree Tour 2019.
