B.Tech. in Nanoscience and Technology program is an interdisciplinary field combines principles from physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering to create novel solutions for a wide range of industries. The program provides quality education to equip students with the knowledge and skills to manipulate and engineer materials at the nanoscale (typically between 1 to 100 nanometers) for various applications across multiple fields. The global nanotechnology market has experienced significant growth and is projected to continue expanding in the coming years. As of 2022, the market was valued at approximately USD 3.69 billion and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 33.1% from 2023 to 2030. Apart from Nanoscience and Technology fundamentals, students will get exposure to design, synthesis, and fabrication of nanomaterials, including nanoparticles, nanowires, nanocomposites, and nanostructures, with tailored properties for specific applications. The curriculum follows practical learning-based approach to solve complex problems, involving advanced materials, fabrication techniques, precise manufacturing techniques, and cross-disciplinary thinking in Nanoscience and Technology domain.

  • This B.Tech. program explores the fundamentals for the design, development, and application of nanotechnology solutions using Wet chemistry tools Deposition, growth & anneal systems, Lithography tools, Dry Etch tools, Material & structural characterization tools etc.
  • The interdisciplinary nature of the course will be able to lead a successful career in industry, pursue higher study or entrepreneurial endeavor through application of domain specific knowledge in areas of microelectronics, embedded system design, VLSI, Material Science etc.
  • This B.Tech. Program helps in enhancing the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of Nanotechnologies. The degree focuses on how to apply nanoscience to solve real-world engineering challenges.
